With a Tango repertoire based on the original compositions and style of Juan Seren, complemented by the unique sound and arrangements of the „Dúo Púa Abajo“, this critically acclaimed Tango ensemble offers fresh ideas on poetry and music, as well as arrangements and sound in general while always embracing the „tanguero“ sound and the roots of the genre.

The original group of „Juan Seren y Los Púa Abajo“ was founded in 2010 by singer-songwriter Juan Seren and the guitarist’ / arrangers’ - duo “Dúo Púa Abajo” (Ángel Colacilli and Leandro Coratella). The group has since been joined by double bass player Martín Santiago (bassist of Quinteto Finisterre, amongst others).

The ensemble is regularly performing throughout Argentina and on Buenos Aires’ most famous stages like CAFF (Club Atlético Fernández Fierro), Centro Cultural Torcuato Tasso, Usina del Arte, the Centro Cultural de la Cooperación (CCC) and the Valentín Alsina Tango Festival.
